Adoption Decision Making Seminar

Sidebar: Thank you to everyone's condolences and sympathies for the passing of my grandmother this week. They have meant so much to me during this particularly difficult time.

RESOLVE of New England's Adoption Decision Making Seminar is this Saturday in Newtonville, MA. Check out my latest Examiner.com article for more info. I hope to do a review of the seminar first thing next week; Larry and I are really looking forward to it.

Are you considering adoption as a family building solution? Have you exhausted your fertility treatment options and are looking to explore adoption? Are your weighing the pros and cons of domestic and international adoption? The Adoption Decision Making Seminar this Saturday, June 12, 2010 in Newtonville might just be the best place to find your answers. Read the rest of the article here at Examiner.com.

We will be going to a local adoption information session (Ontario). After doing some research, we have decided on international adoption, specifically from Russia. The decision was based a bit on age requirements of the parents. My husband is 48, in very good health (thank G-d). We would like a toddler (preferable under 3) and many countries want parents to be 40 for the younger kids.

As for cost (sigh) it so happens we have set aside some cash so we are actually a bit over half way there (thank G-d!!)

The info session may change our minds a bit, we'll see, but from what i read so far, this feels like a good direction.

we are adopting from korea! we've been matched with a little baby boy and we are eagerly and anxiously waiting for his travel documents to be ready. it's been a long and often difficult road, but now that we're near the end we know so clearly that it was all worth it! check out more of our story on our blog: chois-r-us.blogspot.com
