PETA has removed all references to National Infertility Awareness Week from their "Win a Vasectomy" campaign. I've closed the petition and we've come in at just over 2,200 signatures in just 3 days. This is an incredible victory for the infertility community.
Check out my vlog below for more information, and stay tuned for my open letter to PETA thanking them for hearing our voice and responding to our concerns.
Feel free to spread the good news!

I'm so glad!!!!
THANK YOU. You are awesome, and I am so happy they took it down!
Awesome news to hear on such a bleak morning! Well done Keiko and thanks!
Awesome news!!! Thank you for being such an incredible advocate for your community, you rock!
Great! Thanks for all you did.
They didn't remove it still from their features homepage. I don't see reference in the article for the contest, but on the features homepage it says: "In honor of National Infertility Awareness Week, PETA is giving away one free human vasectomy. Planning to have your dog or cat neutered? Enter now! READ MORE" this as of right now. :(
@Rachel L: I saw that this morning too. It looks like they've missed a directing page. I plan to address this in an open letter thanking them for removing all references from the campaign landing page, as well as calling them Monday morning. It looks like it was one of those "we forgot we also had it posted here" oversights. I'm willing to give PETA the benefit of the doubt on this having done web page management myself. It's easy to remember to update the big info page and forget about thte places from where it's referenced elsewhere on the site.
Oh Keiko - you are truly a hero! Thank you so much for being a relentless force and an inspiration to all of us in this community. It gives me shivers.
This is fantastic news! Way to spearhead this movement and get our voices heard and recognized!!
Hooray! I didn't get to sign the petition but I did write an e-mail to PETA. Thank you for rallying us together. :)
